Στην Αργεντινή υπάρχει μια λέξη που σημαίνει ταυτόχρονα "ζεστή αγκαλιά", "παθιασμένες φιγούρες" και "βήματα γεμάτα δυναμισμό" . 
Και η λέξη αυτή είναι Τάνγκο. 

Η Ομάδα Αργεντίνικου Τάνγκο Ρόδου "Εl Abrazo del Tango" δραστηριοποιείται στην Ρόδο από το 2010, έχοντας στο ιστορικό της πολλές δράσεις με τις οποίες συμμετέχει ενεργά στην διάδοση και εξέλιξη του αργεντίνικου Tango στην Ρόδο. 

Πιο αναλυτικά διοργανώνονται εβδομαδιαίες βραδιές αργεντίνικου τάνγκο (μιλόγκα), σεμινάρια με καταξιωμένους δασκάλους απο Ελλάδα και Αργεντινή, Φεστιβάλ Αργεντίνικου Τάνγκο με συμμετοχή και προσέλευση χορευτών απο πολλά μέρη του κόσμου, εβδομαδιαία μαθήματα και συμμέτοχες σε πολιτιστικά δρώμενα του Δήμου, guest Dj's,special events και practicas.

Κατά την διάρκεια της καλοκαιρινής περιόδου,διοργανώνουμε την Open Air Milonga "Porteña στη Ροτόντα στο Μαντράκι δίπλα στην θάλασσα και κατά την χειμερινή περίοδο την Milonga "Estrellita" στο γνωστό Music Bar "Ρωγμή του Χρόνου" στην Μεσαιωνική Πόλη της Ρόδου ,κάθε Σάββατο στις 22:00.
Η Milonga "Estrellita" και η Open Air Milonga "Porteña αποτελούν εδώ και χρόνια τις καθιερωμένες milongas της Ρόδου και τον φυσικό τόπο συνάντησης των milongueros του νησιού.


Στόχοι του group είναι:
-η πληροφόρηση των μελών για όλες τις εκδηλώσεις και δραστηριότητες που αφορούν το Τango στην Ρόδο.
-η αρμονική επικοινωνία και η ενεργός συμμετοχή των μελών.
-η προσέλκυση καινούργιων "εραστών" της μουσικής και του χορού του Tango.

In Argentina there is a word that means both "warm embrace", "passionate figures" and "dynamic steps".
And this word is Tango.

The Tango Argentino Rhodes Group "El Abrazo del Tango" operates in Rhodes since 2010, having the history of many actions that actively participate in the dissemination and development of Argentine Tango in Rhodes.

Specifically organized weekly TangoArgentino evenings (milongas), workshops with renowned teachers from Greece and Argentina, Tango Festival with participation and attendance from dancers from many parts of the world, weekly lessons and participation in cultural events of the Municipality, guest Dj's, special events and practicas.

During the summer season, we organize the Open Air Milonga "Porteña in the Rotonda in Mandraki near by the sea.

In the wintertime we organize the Milonga" Estrellita" to the famous Music Bar "Rogmi tou Xronou" in the Medieval City of Rhodes, every Saturday at 22 : 00.
The Milonga "Estrellita" and the Open Air Milonga "Porteña have been organized for years in Rhodes and they are the fisrt meeting place for the milongueros of the island.


Objectives of the group are:
-the information to members for all events and activities related to Tango in Rhodes.
-the harmonious communication and active participation of members.
-the attracting new "lovers" of music and dance of the Tango.
